Worship at Piermont Reformed Church has the aim of celebrating and sharing God’s love. God speaks to us as we listen to and meditate on what God says through the Bible. We enter into a conversation with God through prayer and hymns of praise. And we experience God’s love in the care and concern we show each other. Worship here means warmth and welcome.
Our worship takes its form from the Reformed and Presbyterian tradition, with much that will be familiar to worshipers of any background. The music style is “blended,” using both traditional hymns and contemporary songs, accompanied sometimes by organ, sometimes by guitar, cello, violins and soprano sax.
Families with children feel welcome and comfortable at our services. The kids have their own special time with our pastor as part of each worship service. Children take center stage at our Christmas pageant and on Children’s Day in June. Child care is available on request.
